Our Client Support Team are here to help you with all payment related issues. It might be that you want to pay extra now and stop a payment at Christmas. Some people have seasonal work and want to get ahead now to allow them to reduce the payments when they don’t get work like people working at schools who don’t work during school holidays.
There may be times where you miss a payment or are unable to make a payment. Please contact us if this is the case. We may be able to help to reschedule your payments, saving you from falling behind. We can cancel or change a payment if you call us on 1300 368 322 one business day prior to your payment. This will save you from paying dishonour fees!
We will always let you know if your payment dishonours, but it can be difficult to reach you during business hours. When your payment dishonours, we will increase your payments as indicated below until your arrears are cleared, this will help you stay on track.
- Weekly payments
the next 4 payments will increase by 25% - Fortnightly payments
the next 4 payments will increase by 25% - Monthly payments
the next 2 payments will increase by 50%
Please note that if you dishonour these increased payments, you should contact us to make other arrangements which are affordable for you.
If this is not affordable just contact us before the payment date and we’ll discuss other options.
Change of Circumstances
We’re here to support you when times are tough – when you want to make your payments but are finding it difficult due to challenging personal circumstances. This could include situations such as unemployment, family breakdown, illness or family violence. We will continue working with our community partners to deliver exceptional service and tailored client support.
If you have a significant change in circumstances (e.g. loss of employment, income, sickness etc), please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to propose a variation of your original Debt Agreement Proposal to your creditors. This is a new negotiation with creditors and may give you extra time to pay or stop or change your payments for a period of time e.g. to allow you to find new employment or to recover from illness.
