Meet Vandhana,
Client Support Officer

Hi, I’m Vandhana, a Debt Management Consultant at Debt Busters.

I was born and raised in India and moved to Australia a few years ago to continue growing both personally and professionally. I completed my Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University in Tamil Nadu, but quickly realised that while engineering was valuable, my true passion was communication and working with people. That led me into corporate communications with Hyundai Motor India, where I spent four and a half years working across PR, crisis communications, branding, editorials, and new car launches. It was fast-paced, creative, and full of learning, and it taught me how to stay calm, clear, and composed in any situation.

I later moved to Australia to pursue my Master’s in Strategic Communications and, along the way, worked with major charities including World Vision, UNHCR, PLAN International, and the Fred Hollows Foundation. Knowing my work indirectly supported people in need gave me a strong sense of purpose, and that feeling is what ultimately led me to Debt Busters.

My approach is simple: no judgment and no added stress, just clear guidance and genuine support. I understand that financial challenges can feel heavy, so I focus on creating calm, clarity, and a safe space where clients feel respected and understood. What I enjoy most about working at Debt Busters is the culture of fairness and compassion. Fairness is the value I connect with most, and I believe every client deserves to be treated with patience, dignity, and respect. If I can help someone feel less overwhelmed and more in control, that is a win for me. I want every client to know they have someone in their corner who truly cares about their journey.

Outside of work, I love turning a house into a home. DIY projects are my happy place, and I enjoy adding small touches that make a space feel warm and personal. I’m married to my best friend, and together we enjoy building a life filled with simple joys, good food, and meaningful moments. Friends would describe me as warm, thoughtful, and someone who always tries to bring comfort into the spaces I’m part of.
