Hi, I’m Tina. I work as a Client Support Officer with Debt Busters. I assist and guide our clients through their financial journey from start to finish, including navigating unexpected changes in our clients circumstances, and providing guidance on how to best handle any difficulties.
Previously, I worked at the Bank of Queensland as a Mobile Lending Manager. In this role, I travelled all over South East Queensland, meeting clients and helping them reach their financial goals. I assisted with purchasing and refinancing homes and also offering bank services. Because I was able to work with clients one-on-one, I learned the importance of personal care in the banking industry. This inspired me to complete a Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Financial Services Management with the Kaplan Institute.
Along with my banking and finance experience, I also have a strong passion for working with the community. I spent many years volunteering in my local homeless shelter where I worked specifically with the youth. I volunteered while working full-time, completing a Cert IV in Youth Work and Community Services.
Today, I combine my passion for helping others with my financial experience in my role at Debt Busters. I also continue to work as a volunteer Support Worker. My clients and colleagues are amazing, and I find it rewarding to work with people from all walks of life. Everyone’s situation is different, and I take a unique approach to each client’s situation. I’m constantly inspired by our client stories at Debt Busters, and I’m proud to be a part of such a strong team.
