I was born and raised in India and moved to Australia in February 2017. I am over 48-years old, married , and my life revolves around my family.
I graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in New Delhi, Delhi University, with B.Com(Hons). After that, I completed a postgraduate diploma in Business Management from the YMCA. I’ve also taken classes in classical dance and sports. I’m a strong believer in the saying “A healthy mind in a healthy body” which is why I take my physical activities very seriously!
While at university, I aspired to work for a global bank and received my big break with Citibank in India. Having spent 8 years within the Citibank group working in different roles such as wealth management and customer service, I developed a knack for strong communication skills and a “going above and beyond” mentality that helped me reach great results no matter what the role was.
Just before my next promotion as Assistant Vice President, I made the difficult decision to set aside my career in order to care for my family and toddler. I have no regrets in leaving Citibank as these circumstances allowed me to become the caring and compassionate person that I am today. My parents and relatives were always caring and loving and this inspired me to be equally loving towards the people I care about.

My husband suggested that I keep myself busy to take my mind off the situation so I completed an International Graduate Diploma in Counselling Skills course. I related a lot to my studies and felt that this was my calling. I wanted to help others who were suffering from loneliness or just needed somebody to talk to.
I offered my services to close family members and friends. I felt blessed knowing that we could continue to interact and uplift each other, helping with their problems and letting them know that they were not alone. However, I wanted to take my skills further and when the opportunity to move to Australia came about, it was clear to me where we needed to go.
Shortly after I arrived in Australia, I joined Debt Busters as a Debt Management Consultant. The role engaged my passion for helping people in hardship plus my financial skills were also put to good use. Over the past 8+ years, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients with nearly 1000 accepted arrangements, guiding them towards financial freedom. Being part of the Debt Busters team reinforces my decision to move to this beautiful country. I’m always passionate about helping people and I feel empowered to make a positive difference in people’s lives every da
