Hello, I’m Patrick. I was raised on a small island in the Philippines called Samar. One of 10 siblings, I saw firsthand how hardworking parents can make all the difference for their children. I pursued my Bachelor’s Degree in Manila in 2008, and I studied Business Administration. My career in banking and finance started in college. I was soon hired by JP Morgan Chase & Co. as a Fraud Investigator.
Though I enjoyed analysing risk issues and fraud concerns, it was difficult to support businesses in vastly different time zones. This led me to look to Australia for opportunities that matched my schedule. I transitioned to working in mortgages as a Credit Officer. This role utilised my previous experience in administration and credit monitoring to help people achieve their financial goals. Fast forward to 2021 and I joined the skilled team at Debt Busters as a Case Manager. I assist the financial consultants by assessing client files and developing financial solutions.
In all things, I try to lead with love and compassion. You never truly know what someone has gone through or how they feel. This is why it’s important to be kind with each interaction, always looking out for their best interests. At Debt Busters, I get to encourage people every day to be the best versions of themselves. When not working, I am a free diver, runner, traveller, event host, and teacher at my local Sunday School. I look forward to working with you!
